OCOEE RIVER RAFTING 101
We provide our guests with trained professional river guides, the best and safest equipment available, including a self bailing raft, life jacket, helmet and paddle. Below is a list of items we suggest you bring to make your stay and rafting experience more enjoyable.
It gets sunny on the Ocoee River no matter what time of year. You need to protect your self from burning by using sun screen, SPF15 or better. Cotton will keep you cool during the summer months.
- Tennis shoes
- Swim wear (Shorts or cut-offs…..etc.)
- T-shirt
- Towel
- Change of clothing
- Dry Shoes
- Sun screen (don’t burn)
Cotton does not work well in cold weather, Fleece, Polyester or woolen products will keep you warm when wet. Spray jackets are available for rent on rainy days, just ask at the front desk before your trip.
